Virtual CloneDrive Overview
Virtual CloneDrive is a free utility for Windows that creates virtual optical drives so you can mount disc image files — such as ISO, BIN, and CCD — and use them as if a physical CD or DVD were inserted. Once an image is mounted, Windows treats it as a real disc, letting you run or install software directly from the image without burning it to a physical disc. It supports multiple virtual drives at once and integrates into the right-click menu for quick mounting. While modern Windows can mount ISO files natively, Virtual CloneDrive adds support for more image formats and multiple drives. The complete installer means Virtual CloneDrive sets up without fetching anything online during installation. It keeps a history of recently mounted images for quick re-mounting, and the last-used image can be remounted automatically at startup.
