Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to OfflineInstallerSetup.com ("we", "our", "us", or "the Site"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit https://offlineinstallersetup.com.

This policy describes processing associated with using the site. Where consent is legally required, it must be requested separately; simply visiting the site is not treated as advertising consent.

2. What We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the site and improve your experience:

Usage / Analytics Data

Cloudflare Web Analytics real-user monitoring (RUM) is enabled through Cloudflare's automatic edge setup. Its browser beacon measures page views, referring and landing pages, browser/device/operating-system categories, and performance information such as navigation/resource timing and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare states that this RUM beacon does not use or access cookies or browser storage, and that the source IP received during normal HTTP handling is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data center rather than stored in the RUM databases. The current Free-plan RUM setup excludes traffic connecting through Cloudflare data centers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Repository-controlled Google Analytics and Ahrefs browser analytics are disabled.

Contact Email Data

The contact-page composer opens your device's email app and does not submit its fields to this website. If you choose Send in your email app, your email provider sends the message to a Cloudflare Email Routing address that forwards to our support mailbox. Avinash Verma personally reviews messages in the support inbox and uses the sender address and message contents to respond, investigate corrections, and act on removal requests.

Advertising Data (Cookies)

Google ads are currently disabled. The code requires both AdSense approval and an enabled consent platform before ad scripts can load.

Local file verification

The SHA-256 tool reads your selected file in your browser, with a 100 MiB limit. It does not upload the file, filename or reference digest, and does not store inputs in browser storage. Clearing or leaving the page discards the working inputs. If you choose to save a verification record, your browser downloads a JSON file to your device; that record includes the filename and checks you supplied. Handle it as local information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and improve the OfflineInstallerSetup.com website
  • To respond to messages sent to our support or contact email addresses
  • To investigate broken links, incorrect catalog data, and software suggestions
  • To display advertising only if AdSense and the required consent controls are enabled later
  • To monitor and fix broken download links or incorrect version information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails. We do not create user profiles.

4. Google AdSense & Advertising

Google AdSense is currently disabled. If it is enabled after approval, the site will also enable a Google-certified consent platform where required and update this policy if the processing changes.

If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. As a consequence of ad serving, Google and other enabled advertising vendors may place or read cookies, or use web beacons, IP addresses, device information, and other identifiers to measure and personalize advertising where permitted.

Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Users can opt out of personalized advertising or manage Google advertising preferences through the clickable links below. If other ad vendors or networks are added, this policy will name them and link to their privacy and opt-out information before they are enabled.

5. Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics RUM is active and automatically injected at Cloudflare's edge. It sends performance and page-view measurements to the same-origin /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. Cloudflare says it does not track individual users across customer sites, does not log query strings for Web Analytics, and progressively samples stored aggregate data. Read Cloudflare's RUM beacon data and privacy details.

Google Analytics and Ahrefs browser analytics remain disabled. If another browser analytics service is enabled later, this policy and any legally required consent controls must be updated before activation.

6. Cookies

The following categories describe the current site and integrations that may be enabled later:

Cookie Type Purpose Provider
Analytics Cloudflare Web Analytics RUM is active without cookies or browser storage; Google Analytics and Ahrefs are disabled Cloudflare
Advertising Currently disabled None
Essential / Security Site delivery, abuse prevention, browser-integrity checks, and security challenges where Cloudflare determines they are needed Cloudflare

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential security cookies may cause a challenge to repeat or prevent access in higher-risk traffic conditions.

There is no advertising-consent banner while Google advertising is disabled. Cloudflare's current Free-plan RUM setup excludes traffic connecting through Cloudflare data centers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Before Google ads are enabled for visitors in regions where consent is required, the site must deploy an applicable Google-certified consent management platform with accept, reject, manage-options, and withdrawal paths. Account-side certification, regional behavior, and consent revocation require manual verification before activation.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website contains links to third-party websites — primarily publisher sites, release repositories, app stores, CDNs, and documented distribution hosts where you can download software. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

8. Data Retention

Cloudflare states that unsampled Web Analytics beacon data is retained for seven days, after which it is aggregated and sampled, and that Web Analytics reports are accessible for the previous six months. Contact messages remain with the sender's email provider, Cloudflare Email Routing in transit, and our support mailbox provider according to those services' settings and policies. Support messages are reviewed personally in the inbox. No fixed or automated deletion schedule is currently in place. You can request deletion of a support message or removal of website content through the contact address; requests are reviewed individually.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately at support@offlineinstallersetup.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for advertising purposes
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@offlineinstallersetup.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. A policy update does not replace any consent required by law; where consent is required, we request it separately.
