Fritzing Overview
Fritzing is an open-source electronics design tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux, created to make designing and documenting hardware approachable for makers, students, and hobbyists. Its signature feature is a breadboard view that mirrors how you physically wire a circuit on a solderless breadboard, so beginners can move from a real prototype to a digital design naturally. From the same project you can switch to a schematic view and a printed-circuit-board view, and Fritzing keeps the three in sync, letting you turn a breadboard sketch into a manufacturable PCB layout. It includes a large parts library, including many popular components and microcontroller boards such as Arduino, tools for routing traces, and the ability to export production files and attractive wiring diagrams for documentation and tutorials. Fritzing is widely used in education and the maker community. A small fee supports the project's continued development. This page links to the official Fritzing download.
