Framer Overview
Framer is a design and website-building tool from Framer B.V. that lets you design and publish responsive websites visually, without writing code, with desktop apps for Windows and macOS as well as a browser version. It combines a freeform design canvas with real, production-ready output: you lay out pages with precise control over typography, layout, and styling, add scroll and hover animations and interactive components, then publish directly to the web on Framer's hosting with a custom domain. Framer includes a content management system for blogs and dynamic pages, built-in templates and components, responsive breakpoints for adapting layouts to different screen sizes, and modern features such as AI-assisted page generation. Originally known as an interactive prototyping tool, Framer has evolved into a full no-code website builder used by designers, startups, and agencies to ship sites quickly.
