DBeaver Overview
DBeaver is a universal database tool for developers, analysts, and database administrators, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its free, open-source Community Edition connects to a huge range of databases through JDBC, including MySQL and MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and many more, giving you one consistent interface instead of a different tool for each system. It provides a powerful SQL editor with syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and execution plans, a data grid for browsing and editing records, and visual tools such as entity-relationship diagrams and a query builder. You can import and export data in many formats, generate mock data, compare schemas, and manage users and connections from a single workspace. A commercial PRO edition adds support for NoSQL and cloud databases and extra productivity features, but the Community Edition alone is enough for most everyday database work. The full offline installer holds the complete application, so it sets up on a machine with no internet connection. This page links to the official DBeaver download.
