Download summary

PeaZip is a file archiver for Windows/Linux, published by Giorgio Tani. A direct package URL is recorded below. The host may be the publisher, a release repository, a CDN, or another distribution source documented by the publisher. Some packages still fetch optional components during setup. Recorded package files cover Windows; for Linux, use the publisher's download page linked below. The recorded publisher site is peazip.github.io. We do not host or modify installer files.

Choose a package

Installer integration or portable ZIP

Use setup when you want its optional Windows context-menu and file-association integration. Choose the recorded ZIP when you need a separate application folder.

Extract the ZIP before launching PeaZip; do not run it from an archive preview. Portable packaging does not make temporary files, history or copies of extracted documents disappear.

Package guidance is based on the linked documentation, checked 11 September 2026. No installation test is claimed.

Publisher SHA-256 reference values

Compared the installer and portable ZIP values with the exact official release asset digests. No local binary hash, signature or installation test. Compared on 11 September 2026 with the publisher’s reference.

Compare only with the exact named package. A matching hash alone does not establish publisher identity or package safety.

Verification scope

A direct package URL is recorded above. We have not independently installed every listed build or confirmed that setup remains fully offline.

We do not host software files. Links may resolve to a publisher domain, its release repository, app store, CDN, or a documented distribution host — confirm the final hostname, publisher signature, version, and architecture before deployment. Recorded URLs last checked 30 August 2026; content last updated 11 September 2026.

What PeaZip does

PeaZip 11.2.0 is an open-source archive manager with publisher-built packages for Windows and Linux, including installer and portable variants. This catalog records only the versioned Windows x64 installer and portable ZIP plus the publisher release page; Linux users must select the appropriate DEB, RPM, or portable archive from that page.

The publisher documents support for reading more than 200 archive types, but creation, browsing, conversion, encryption, and repair capabilities differ by format and bundled backend. A listed extension therefore does not imply full read/write parity or lossless conversion. Encryption and password-management options do not establish that an archive's contents are benign.

PeaZip's deletion function overwrites selected data, but no software-only erase claim can cover SSD wear levelling, snapshots, backups, remapped sectors, or copies elsewhere. Portable packages avoid a conventional installer; they can still create settings, history, temporary files, shell artefacts, or operating-system traces depending on options and use.

The publisher provides SHA-256.txt for this release. The two values shown here were compared with official GitHub release metadata on 2026-09-11; the publisher says its packages are unsigned. This is the publisher’s statement, not a local signature inspection. Compare the exact file with its current publisher hash reference before use; a match alone does not establish safety. No local installation, signature inspection, deletion validation, or format-conversion test was performed.

Installation notes

Grouped by the package types recorded on this page — not a claim that every listed build was independently tested on every supported platform.

Windows Windows archive (ZIP/7Z)

  1. 1

Extract the recorded file (peazip_portable-11.2.0.WIN64.zip) into a separate folder and check the publisher's instructions for the executable or setup program inside. ZIP/7Z describes compression, not installation behavior.

  2. 2

A no-installer build may still store settings, credentials, caches, or Registry entries outside that folder. Check PeaZip's configuration and removal instructions before moving or deleting it.

Windows Windows installer (EXE)

  1. 1

Download the recorded file (peazip-11.2.0.WIN64.exe). If it has a digital signature, inspect the signer and validation result in Properties → Digital Signatures. If no signature is present, follow the publisher's documented verification method; a missing signature does not authenticate the file.

  2. 2

Check any Windows warning before proceeding. A SmartScreen reputation warning is not signature verification; stop if the publisher is unexpected or the file is reported as malicious.

  3. 3

Follow the publisher's setup prompts to finish; options vary by release, so review each screen rather than clicking through.

No direct package URL is recorded on this page for Linux — for that platform, choose the build on the publisher's download page linked in the table above.
