PTGui Overview
PTGui is a panorama photo stitching application for Windows and macOS that joins multiple overlapping photos into seamless wide-angle and 360-degree panoramas. It is known for control and quality: automatic control-point detection aligns images, while manual control points, lens correction, and a range of projections (cylindrical, spherical, and more) handle difficult scenes. It supports HDR panoramas by merging bracketed exposures, masking to remove moving objects or blend seams, and output of very high-resolution results. It is widely used by professional and enthusiast panorama photographers, including for virtual tours. The download is the complete PTGui setup, so it installs offline without pulling extra files. A real-time preview shows the stitched result as you adjust settings, and a viewpoint-correction tool helps with scenes shot from slightly different positions.
