LosslessCut Overview
LosslessCut is a free, open-source tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux that trims and cuts video and audio files extremely fast and without re-encoding, preserving the original quality. Because it does lossless cuts, it can extract or remove sections of even very large or high-bitrate files almost instantly and with no quality loss, since it does not re-compress the video. It can also merge files, extract streams (audio, video, subtitles), remove or change metadata, and capture frames. It is ideal for quickly cutting raw footage, removing unwanted parts, or splitting recordings without the time and quality cost of a full editor. Its full installer holds the complete application, so it sets up on a machine with no internet connection. It supports a keyboard-driven workflow with segment markers, and can export each cut as a separate file or merge selections. Download LosslessCut from Github's official source, linked here.
