GitKraken Overview
GitKraken is a graphical Git client for Windows, macOS, and Linux from Axosoft, designed to make version control more visual and approachable. Its centerpiece is a clear, interactive commit graph that shows branches, merges, and history at a glance, and it lets you perform Git actions such as staging, committing, branching, merging, rebasing, and resolving conflicts through drag-and-drop and clicks rather than memorized commands. It integrates with hosting services including GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, so you can clone repositories, open and review pull requests, and manage issues from inside the app. Additional tools include a built-in merge-conflict editor, profiles for switching between work and personal accounts, an undo button for recovering from mistakes, and an integrated terminal. GitKraken is freemium, free for public repositories with paid plans that add private-repo and team features. This page links to the official GitKraken download.
