ESET NOD32 Overview
ESET NOD32 Antivirus is the core antivirus product from the Slovak vendor ESET, long valued for strong detection combined with a notably light system footprint. It provides real-time protection against viruses, ransomware, and other malware using a mix of signatures and advanced heuristics, with a focus on speed and low resource use that makes it popular on lower-powered machines and with gamers (it includes a gamer mode that suppresses interruptions). It is the entry point to ESET's range, with higher tiers (Internet Security, Smart Security Premium) adding a firewall, banking protection, and more. It is a paid product.
