Redash Overview
Redash is an open-source tool for querying data sources and turning the results into visualizations and dashboards, for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and typically self-hosted. It is aimed at helping teams make sense of their data without each person needing direct database access: analysts write queries against connected data sources, and the results can be charted, arranged into shareable dashboards, and refreshed on a schedule. Redash connects to a wide range of databases and data services, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and many SQL and NoSQL systems, as well as APIs, so a single place can reach across an organization's data. Features include a query editor with sharing and snippets, a variety of visualization types, dashboards with filters, alerts that notify you when data crosses a threshold, and user permissions. As open-source software, it can be self-hosted for control over data. This page links to the official Redash download.
