Celtx Overview
Celtx is a screenwriting and pre-production platform for Windows and macOS (and web) used by filmmakers, students, and content creators to write scripts and plan productions. It provides industry-standard script formatting for film, TV, and other media, and goes beyond writing into pre-production tools: breaking down scripts into elements, creating shot lists and storyboards, scheduling, and budgeting, which connects the script to the practical work of producing it. Its cloud-based, collaborative approach lets teams work together on projects. It uses a freemium/subscription model. The desktop app is a companion to the cloud service, so projects sync online.
