Budibase Overview
Budibase is a free, open-source low-code platform for building internal tools and business applications quickly, for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and commonly self-hosted. It lets teams create apps such as admin panels, dashboards, approval workflows, and forms by designing screens visually and binding them to data, without building everything from scratch. Budibase connects to many data sources, including its own built-in database, external SQL databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, REST APIs, and popular services, and it can automatically generate a working app from an existing database table. It includes a visual designer, automations for triggering actions and workflows, role-based access control, and reusable components. Because it is open source, organizations can self-host it for full control over their data and deployment, and it is free to use, with paid plans adding team and enterprise features.
