Affinity Designer Overview
Affinity Designer is a professional vector graphics application for Windows and macOS from Serif, offered as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. It is built for logos, icons, illustrations, UI design, and other scalable artwork, with precise pen and node editing, boolean shape operations, grids and guides, and a large, smooth canvas. A distinctive feature is its ability to switch between dedicated vector and raster workspaces (Personas) within the same document, so you can add pixel detail to vector art without leaving the app. It works with many formats, including PSD and SVG. It also supports artboards for designing several screens or sizes at once, a powerful contour tool, and constraints that help build responsive layouts.
