Apache Superset Overview
Apache Superset is a free, open-source data exploration and visualization platform from the Apache Software Foundation, for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and commonly self-hosted. It provides a modern business-intelligence experience for exploring data and building interactive dashboards without heavy licensing costs. Users can connect Superset to a wide range of SQL databases and data warehouses, explore data through a no-code visualization builder or by writing SQL directly in its built-in editor, and assemble rich dashboards from many chart types, from simple bar charts to geospatial maps. Superset is designed to scale to large data volumes and many users, with features such as caching, fine-grained access controls and roles, and the ability to define reusable datasets and metrics.
