Adobe XD Overview
Adobe XD is a user-experience and user-interface design tool from Adobe for designing and prototyping websites and apps, for Windows and macOS. It provides a fast vector-based canvas for laying out screens, with reusable components, repeat grids for quickly duplicating elements like lists, and shared styles to keep a design consistent. Beyond static design, XD lets you wire screens together into clickable prototypes with transitions, micro-interactions, and even voice triggers, so you can demonstrate how an app or site will feel before it is built, and share prototypes online for feedback and developer hand-off with inspectable specs. It connects with other Adobe Creative Cloud apps and a range of plugins. It is worth noting that Adobe has placed XD in maintenance mode, meaning it is no longer being actively developed with new features, though it remains available; many teams continue to use it for existing projects.
